Team #OPT VEGAN

We are a running team rooted in the Seattle Area focused on health, fitness and social advancement of vegan awareness and education. Through our running accomplishments, meet-ups and team exposure, we hope to inspire others by establishing ourselves as respected ambassadors for vibrant health, veganism and athleticism. Our causes will alternate between sanctuaries, such as Pigs Peace Sanctuary, Pasado’s Safe Haven and Chimpanzees Sanctuary Northwest all located in the Seattle Area.

Training Meet-Ups

  • Most training runs will start at Jujubeet Locations. There will be a mix of short and longer distances as well as slower and faster paced runs.
  • Post run, enjoy a power smoothie, artisan juice or tasty bite with fellow teammates 

Races, Events and Team Members

  • We will strive to be present at as many races as possible. Whether it's one of us or all of us, we will make an impact and raise awareness for vibrant health, veganism and athleticism. As we grow, we will be running in team ultra relays to make a larger footprint.​

Primary Causes We Support

Join Team #OPT VEGAN

  • Cost to join the team is free, however our team shirt will be encouraged  ($15-$20).
  • All runners welcome - new, experienced and gurus! 
  • As an #OPT VEGAN Team Member, we highly encourage you to race at least 1 event per year and participate at training run meet-ups and team events when you are able to. If you are new to running, we will help coach you to running your first 5K! ​

Recruiting Team Captains!

We are looking for Team Captains to organize group runs in local neighborhoods! Most runs need to be centered around the following Jujubeet locations:
  • MAIN STREET BELLEVUE
  • UNIVERSITY VILLAGE SEATTLE
  • REDMOND TOWN CENTER
